Dyslexic Swing & The Silent Broccoli
Created in 2015 in the spirit of the Hot Club de France, Dyslexic Swing & The Silent Brocoli is a string quartet at the crossroads of gypsy jazz and vocal swing. The group rearranges with contagious jubilation the repertoire of the 1930s to 1950s, a tumultuous period marked by the vital emergence of popular, cheerful and dynamic music. Combining instrumental improvisation and close harmony (in the style of the Boswell and Andrews Sisters), Dyslexic Swing presents a virtuoso program that happily mixes the standards of the genre and a few inspired discoveries.
